About HisabMitra

HisabMitra is a free website of calculators and explainers for people in India. You can work out an EMI, a GST split, a salary, or a tile quantity without creating an account.

The calculation runs in your browser. If JavaScript is unavailable, the same formula runs on the server for that one request and the amounts are not stored. We keep a count of how often a tool is opened or calculated, without the numbers you typed.

The written pages are in English. Hindi and Punjabi will be added only after a person reviews the translation. We will not publish a machine-translated copy of the same page.

Finance, tax, health, and construction results are estimates. They are here so you can see the working quickly. They are not a bank sanction, a tax filing, a medical opinion, or a contractor’s bill.
